High Risk Entries encompass a multitude of scenarios but all contain a high probability of encountering a viable threat. All high-risk entries can be broken down into three basic stages:

  • Planning and Preparation
  • Execution of the Entry
  • Securing the Scene

The execution of a High-Risk Entry is an extremely dangerous situation that inherently carries a very high potential for injury and/or loss of life. The basis of PSI’s training techniques regarding High Risk Entries revolves around conducting the operation is a safe, systematic, and methodical manner. We utilize a blueprint that may be followed during any High Risk Entry scenario which will give the operator the highest potential for survival and success. Areas covered during the training include:

  • Intelligence Gathering
  • Risk & Threat Analysis
  • Countermeasures and Control Techniques
  • Room Clearing
  • Forced Entries
  • Officer Survival
  • Building Searches
  • Weapons Handling
  • Practical Exercises
  • Hostage Situations

PSI’s groups of instructors are all seasoned operators of tactical Law Enforcement teams such as Special Response Teams (SRT) or Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Teams.
